Festive OOTD- Orange & Monochrome Kurta Set Outfit
Hi all!! So I had planned my first blog post to be about something related to wedding planning, but as you all know it was Ganesh Chaturthi here a couple of days ago and in Mumbai, it is celebrated with great vigor. As I have moved here after my wedding, this was my first Ganpati in Mumbai. So we got to witness quite a few pandals and got to see various beautiful idols of Bappa. So I was really excited to visit the Ganpati puja here especially because I got a chance to flaunt the ethnics that I bought as a part of my bridal trousseau. Hence my first post is an OOTD post in which I am wearing an orange front slit kurta with monochrome trousers. It also has a slit at the back in the center.
Orange or saffron is a color that screams festive and I could find no better color to wear to Ganpati Puja. The interesting part is I got it at a super affordable price at Myntra. Can you guess the price? Well, this Sangria kurta set costed me under a 1000 bucks!! Seriously!! The fabric is so soft and airy perfect for humid weather.
I got many such kurta sets for casual wear as a part of my trousseau from myntra, more on that later though!!
I accessorized the outfit with my silver jhumkis and flat sandals from Maxx as we had a lot of walking to do. I went for a very simple makeup with a peachy brown lipstick and wore a black bindi. I do not usually wear a bindi but the occasion and the outfit made me want to wear it!! Enjoy the pictures darlings 🙂
So my idea of a festive outfit is something contemporary while adding ethnic elements to it- Comfy & easy. What is your idea of a festive outfit for people? Do let me know what you think in the comments section below 🙂 Until next time!! BBYE 🙂
